Conducts research on the history of Turkish literature with a focus on the comprehensive understanding of the all Turkish literature. The course cultivates the ability to select works of major writers of the times and understand and analyze their historical background and development process. By conducting systematic research on Turkish literature, the course purposes to develop the ability to compare the attitudes, ideologies, culture and development of Korean literature with those of Turkish literature.

Culture refers to everything that makes up a society, that is, art, politics, economy and education and also the lifestyle of its people. The course aims to support students' understanding of the nation's cultural origins, the mindset and the behavior of its people and communities, its cultural diversity and universality, taking a broad view of culture.
