The Department of of Turkish Studies at the Justus-Liebig-University deals specially with Turkish language, history and culture.

Special emphasis is placed on acquiring and developing good skills in modern Turkish language standard. At the Turkish Studies Department in Giessen is also set especially for students with a Turkish background. It tries to support this group of students in improving and strengthen their knowledge of Turkish. Based on a good Turkish Level is also possible, expertise in the field of Turkish languages and cultures of Central Asia and Russia to obtain.
